This morning I woke up at 6am. Yes, 6am. No mistake here. Surprise ? I usually don't rise until the sun hit my rear end. Bet you are smiling here, you 3CrazyDog.My friend N somehow managed to drag me along for a morning walk. Until this morning I still have no idea how I went along with that and the worst is I committed myself to do it every weekend. I must be inebriated with one pot of tea too many the day we met up for a Devonshire Tea spread.
So, I dragged myself out of bed which I just hit about three hours before, stucked in my contact lenses to eyes that can barely open. If that did not wake me up the shower sure did. Dressed and made my way to the bus stop. We had arranged to meet at the train terminal and make our way to the park nearby. I can't imagine when was the last time I was out and about before sunrise.
It was a good walk and we had a good chat, accompanied by the sound of the waves, lots of greenery and the litter left over by the folks who partied at the park the night before. :(
Seriously, can't they throw their drinks and whatnot to the bin which was just near by.
The other bummer was my feet started to hurt after about a hour or so. As you can see from the above picture I was not wearing a proper walking shoe. Cut short our walk and made our way back to the terminal and we had our breakfast of kaya toast with coffee. More yakking until the crowd starts to fill up the joint. We graciously gave our table to others and then went over to the next town to ..... Shop !!!!
Bought myself a new pair of walking shoes. It's one of those that suppose to shape you up while you walk or jog. Nice ?

Since I have committed myself to this weekly thingy I might as well invest in a good pair of walking shoe with some extras thrown in. While I was trying on the shoes I can imagine H saying that he could have got me a pair from his store, using the points provided by his employer.
Excuse me.... the whole family is already wearing that shoe except for the youngest whose only reason being his feet is still too small for it. Can you imagine the whole family tog up with the same pair of shoe in various sizes ????
FYI nearly half the population here has assess to the same pair of shoe. It might be a branded one but who cares when nearly every Tom, Dick and Harry wears it !

Hahahahaha, yah lah, now you better stick to your words and go every week, rain or shine. one thing about that pair of tennis is you can't really walk super fast.
and speaking of H's "store brand" can he get me that pair of sport shorts. he gave me one i like it especially during spring and summer - longgar mah, so good ventilation lah! LOL
I rest my case... another fella joining the boria ! LOL
