Beggars Can't Be Choosy

#1's mobile is not working. The keys pad is not responding at all. He can still receive calls but can't read any text messages neither sent out call or texts.
He's been moaning around the house that he don't have a phone. It's as if he has lots of calls.

This is the second time it happened. The first was a year ago. We sent his and #2's mobiles for repair as they were still covered by a guarantee. #2 had the same trouble. His was a Sony Ericsson's too but a different model. So far his phone is still working fine since the repair.

I asked around and it seems most of Sony Ericsson's mobile has this keypad issue. It seems like they built they mobile to last two years. Just in time for you to renew your mobile contract with the telecommunication company.

I offered him my old phone which I use when I go home. He's very happy to have it. Slot in his SIM card and to his horror there is not a single name in there he can recognise. That boy did not save his contacts to his SIM card.

"Never mind I will slot in my memory card."

"Sorry there is no slots for a memory card. "

"What ?" Looking at the device like a foreign object.

"Can call out or not ? " Got his brother to call and text him just to test it out.

"Cannot listen to music..... some more no camera.....the ring tones totally sucks...., no bluetooth.... the screen so small" - moaning away..... with #2 laughing in the background.

Hahahaaaa......(this is his evil mother laughing away)

Anyway his father has promise him an iphone if... Read this - If the price and contract is favourable. Until his father brings him to renew the contract he is stuck with the ancient one.

"Lucky, ya, I don't need to go to school anymore."

Now are you wondering what is this. It used to be a sock that belongs to #1 - when he was a baby before he grew and grew to a US size 12 !
Now I used it hold my ancient phone.
