Ice Pop Mania

Hi everyone,

Today I'm posting pictures of ice pops.

Lately I'm into them. Don't know why. The weather is not super hot. In fact it is beginning to turn colder. One thing good about that is the ice pops do not melt as fast as in the hot weather.

I have been trying a few recipes and so far this mango one is the best or should I say the favourite among my boys. It is quite easy to make too. The first time I tried them I reduced the amount of sugar required. Big mistake. Once frozen the sweetness seems to have been sucked out.

Wondering why my ice pops are in funny shapes ? It is because I do not have enough moulds. This flower shape ice pops are made with one of those fancy shaped ice cube tray. I stuck a stick into it. That was the first tray I did and I soon gave up after trying to fill up those small moulds. Then I came up with an idea of using those paper mini cup cakes cases. Well, that makes work easier. The only thing is you have to peel off the paper before sucking on them.

And this two big ones here were the first to be filled. Actually I used to have six of them but some how I'm only left with four. Those moulds are from Tupperware. They are quite good too. The only thing I don't like are the covers and sticks that came with them. So, I stuck a stick in to them instead.

You know, regardless of it shapes it still taste delicious.
My boys prefer the big ones, where else I prefer the smaller ones. The moulds are harder to filled up but you can pop the whole thing in to your mouth leaving my hands free to type this post of mine.
I am so into ice pops that I ordered some moulds from Amazon.com. Can't wait for them to arrive. Hurry... hurryyy..........Mr Postman..

A whole new sucking experience await us....
