A Bear, A Lion And A Pig

A bear, a lion and a pig meet up.

Bear says:

"If I roar in the forest, the entire forest is shivering with fear."

Lion says:

"If I roar in the jungle, the entire jungle is afraid of me."

Pig says:

"Big deal.... I only have to cough, and the entire planet lives in fear !

*******************************

Today I received 3 calls from my boys class teacher. All were about the same thing.

Asked if I had been overseas

A new travel declaration form will be sent to us today (Will receive it in a day or two

To return the forms once school reopens next Monday

The boys must bring their personal thermometer everyday to school

All because of the H1N1 virus. The whole nation is preparing itself for it. School might be closed, lessons interrupted, home quarantine.

#2 - Does it mean we don't need to attend school ?

#1 - Only if you had been to certain countries only, lah.

#2 - Aiyah !!!! (mighty disappointed).

You must see this !

I wish I have the patience as that father in the video

Wedding Bells

Last Saturday we received a hand delivered wedding invitation from H's nephew.

H was so touch by it.

For me - I was reminiscing. That I did not hand delivered any of my wedding invitations to my side of the family. I left them to the hands of Sing Post and Pos Malaysia.

H did went round hand delivering the invitation cards to his family members.

I remembered I was surprised that H did not bring along any of those wedding cakes along with the cards. Maybe it is not practise here. Anyway I did not mentioned anything to him as all the arrangement was done by him. He was real hard working.

Where was I ?

I just appeared on the assigned date.

Sound so cold doesn't it ?

Frankly I was against the whole fanfare. From the pictures to the dinner which I think was a big waste of $$$. I can still recall the argument we had about the wedding pictures.

But out of respect to the eldest I went along with the whole thing.

Anyway back to those cakes. I recall as a child wedding cakes known as 'lou poh pang' was delivered together with the cards.

On second thoughts I might be wrong.

Anyone have any idea on this Chinese tradition ?

First I would like to wish all the Father's out there a

Happy Father's Day !!!

H, the boys and I went out for a meal at Katong. It was madness there. Looking for a place to park was pure luck. In the end we park our car illegally. Thank goodness we did not receive a ticket.

Next, I am back but not sure for how long. Now a days just plain lazy when it comes to blogging or posting any pictures. I actually wanted to blog about my time in Ipoh but can't. Macam ada mental block. I might later on.

Plus there was this friend of mine who got me stuck on Cantonese dramas. She downloaded loads of dramas to an external hard drive for me. Thank you !!!!
I am a very, very happy camper. :)
No more K dramas...for the moment. Goodbye F4 which I have been following from mysoju.

These 2 'hiau' shots are for my dear friend. So that she can see how I look in the tops she gave me for my birthday. (*_*) . Thank you very much for them. Love them ++++
Took these pictures long ago as soon as I received them but because of unforeseen circumstances (plus all the reasons above), they are only being posted now.

Finally...here is an update for those who are wondering if twocrazydogs got herself and her group lost in China.
Sad to say she did not. :)
Manage to make her way from Beijing to Datong and Pingyao. Not bad for a non mandarin speaking gal. Wonder if her tongue be sore and twisted after that trip. Hahahaha.....
Will touch down at KLIA on the 27th. Then she will be heading south to roost at my pigeon hole on the 6th July. Before making her way back across the big pond and mountains. After that tiring journey she still have to face her 3 'merajuk' dogs !

Hopefully she and her group won't get to enjoy the free stay given by the courtesy of the M'sian Gov once they touch down at KLIA. That will be a real bummer.
